Lyrical Lemonade's Summer Smash festival took place at Douglas Park, 1401 S Sacramento Dr, June 29th and 30th. This two day festival featured big headliners in the rap game such as Playboi Carti, Lil Yatchy, Juice WRLD and Gucci Mane. Comparing to last years festival, Summer Smash upgraded size from 1 to 3 stages!
I covered day two of the festival that had Juice WRLD and Gucci Mane as headliners. The following artist that I got to see perform were Tay Money, Yung Bans, Famous Dex, Da Baby Amine, Carnage, G Herbo and Calboy. It was unfortunate that there was a thunderstorm during the middle of the festival. Fans had to be evacuated from Douglas Park until doors reopened. Luckily the storm cleared and the festival was a great turn out.
